WHAT IS CROSSFIT?
CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning programme consisting of constantly varied functional movements performed at High intensity.
It is designed to improve your capability at the 10 physical skills;
Cardio-respiratory Endurance, Strength, Flexibility, Stamina, Speed, Power, Accuracy, Agility, Balance and Coordination
Its programme delivers a fitness that by design is broad, general and inclusive. It is the principal strength and conditioning programme for many police academies, military units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.
CrossFit is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect programme for any commited individual regardless of experience.

WORLD CLASS FITNESS IN 100 WORDS:
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds.
Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports. ~Greg Glassman

IMPORTANT INFO - From May we will continue to meet opposite the Botanics but training will take place at the top of the park near the corner of Arboretum Place and Inverleith Place. You'll see the van just up the road and we'll be around that area - near the new trim trail.
